This is the route i chose. 02 27 2009 01 04 am. Transmission fluid hates heat. Disconnect one transmission cooler line from the rad and start stop engine to remove 2 quarts each time adding the same amount to the trans until you have drained out 12 quarts and fluid is red.

Some time ago i found a thread on t4r where a guy using an external cooler wired an extra fan to pull air through it at low speeds. Redo pan put back same amount.
